The Abside Suite & Spa is a luxury guesthouse with spectacular views towards the cloister of the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, one of the most impressive and significant churches in Palermo due to its tremendous artistic and historical value.
The building is located close to the Basilica’s apse, (the word “abside” means apse in Italian) which is where its name comes from and is situated in a quiet neighbourhood that’s set apart from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is one of the most charming and typical areas of Palermo’s historic centre. It is distinguished by its unique setting in an unrivalled position inside the pedestrianised area, just a stone’s throw from Piazza Marina, some of the city’s most popular monuments and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Abside Suite&Spa offers guests a warm welcome in any one of its five rooms, all of which are large, light and have a modern feel that is further enhanced by the careful choice of beautiful quality designer furnishings. Each of the rooms is equipped with its own open wardrobe, a minibar, safety deposit box, a selection of herbal teas and free Wi-Fi access. They all have double beds and large bathrooms with a shower and some of the rooms actually have their own mini swimming pools with a jacuzzi.
